Silkscreen print on fabric
My art practice involves screen printing and installation. As a process based artist, I enjoy the long and tedious process that goes behind printmaking. I am drawn to the amount of preparation needed for printmaking and the steps taken to create a print. My work concentrates on two main themes: femininity and nature. Drawing inspirations from nature and different cultures, my art explores the idea of fragility and delicateness in the mother nature and the notion of death as a new beginning. The delicate floral prints I produce evoke ephemeral ambience that allows the audience to realize the absence of eternity in the world.
